Bing after facing allegations from Google and then getting a 16% gain in market in 2010, now they are introducing Localized and Personalized search.
When we are searching, we more do more search on locale queries.Like when we search for a Hospital, we used to add our city name at the end of Hospitals to made it local.For ex Cancer Hospitals in Rajahmundry.So now Bing introducing localized search.With this you no need to enter any city name.It will automatically find your city and searches for localized hospitals in your city and displays them first, then the other searches will be displayed.
Bing also introducing Personalized search.With this Bing will dynamically shows you the search results based upon your interests.For example, in a search query if you select 4 th result then for next time it will show you that 4 th result as the first result in your search queries.Which makes you get your content ever easy.
Google introduces these two features long back.But, Bing think these features will definitely help them to increase their market share and to give the users best search results.
