Auto Text To the Quick Access Toolbar

Here there is a option in MS Word 2007, which may save your time by Auto Text to the Quick Access toolbar.

To add AutoText to the Quick Access toolbar, follow these simple steps:

1. Click the Office button and select Word Options

2. Click Customize

3. In the box labeled Choose commands from, select All Commands

4. Select AutoText and click Add

5. Click OK

When you click the AutoText button, you’ll see a list of AutoText entries you can insert. Click one to insert it at the cursor point in your document.

To create an AutoText entry, type the text in your document. Select the text and click the AutoText button. Select Save Selection to AutoText Gallery.

Customizing Shortcut Keys in Word 2007

At the present days every one is using MS Word 2007. In this MS Word 2007, There are some short cut keys inbuilt.

The main Advantage of the Shortcut keys are they  save you a lot of time in Microsoft Word. But, a frequently used command may not have a shortcut key. Or, you may wish to assign it a different shortcut key. Fortunately, creating or editing a shortcut key in Word 2007 is painless.

To create or edit a shortcut key, follow these steps:

1. Click the Office button

2. Select Word Options

3. Click Customize

4. Beside Keyboard shortcuts click Customize

5. Use the Categories box to select the category for the command to which you would like to assign a new shortcut

6. Locate the command in the Commands box and select it

7. Click inside the box labeled Press new shortcut key 8. Press your shortcut key

9. You will see if the shortcut key is assigned to a different command. You can overwrite it, or press Delete to undo the shortcut key

10. Click Assign

Today i want to tell you how to use your USB Flash drive as a RAM(Random Access Memory) to increase your PC Performence without buying the RAM.

Generally if you want to increase your system’s performance you must buy a RAM.But it is more cost effective.So which is difficult to buy a new RAM and add it to your PC.So we have to serach for the alternatives.

Here it comes about the USB flash drive or a secure digital (SD) memory card.We can use them as RAM’s with the windows ReadyBoost technology.In this the flash memory devices acts as an additional memory cache so that you can easily access the computer and increase the performance easily.

How to configure your USB flash drive or SD memory card??

It is very simple.First connect your USB flash drive or SD memory card to your system.Then open up my computer.

In it right click on the properties of your flash drive.Then goto ReadyBoost and configure like in the below image.
