Firefox, most downloaded and downloading web browser now in the world, spreading like Swine Flu.438,668,632 Firefox 3.5 downloads so far.Firefox is the World’s most secured and fastest browser right now.
But on the other hand,Firefox is the most buggiest software of this year.The second place goes to Adobe products, according to statistics compiled by Qualys, a vulnerability management provider.
Qualys tallied 102 vulnerabilities that were found in Firefox this year, up from 90 last year. The numbers are based on running totals in the National Vulnerability Database.
However, the high number of Firefox vulnerabilities doesn’t necessarily mean the Web browser actually has the most bugs; it just means it has the most reported holes. Because the software is open source, all holes are publicly disclosed.
Anyway as i am Mozilla Campus Rep ,i can say that these bugs relatively improve the performance of the Firefox because we don’t find them in the next version.Thanks Firefox for such a great Open source Software.
