Google yesterday announced secured search. This new search uses Secure Socket Layer(SSL) to encrypt the data that travel between your computer and services such that third parties over the same network cannot access it.Google already implemented Secure Socket Layer(SSL) protocols to all its Google products starting from Gmail to Google Docs.
You can access the Google secured search at https://www.google.com .This is still in beta version said Google. This includes a new beta logo indicating you that you are searching securely. All the search terms that you used will be stored at Google as the normal search but the difference is that third parties won’t access your data.
First, it now covers only the core Google web search product. Also, since SSL connections need more time to set up the encryption between your browser and the remote web server, your experience with search over SSL might be slightly slower than your regular Google search experience. And clicking on any of the web results, including Google universal search results for unsupported services like Google Images, could take you out of SSL mode. Google is going to add more features to it soon.
