Microsoft Launched Internet Explorer 6 count down timer to spread this world not to use IE6 and to cut the separate work hours for the web developers.
Internet Explorer 6 released on August 21st, 2001.Now it is 10 years old.We all know the problems with IE6.It won’t support HTML5, CSS3 and the developers need to code extra lines for IE6.Simply for the world of web IE6 is a headache.

So finally Microsoft itself decided to kill IE6 and stopped support for IE6 after so many seminars against IE6.They also posted the statistics of the usage of the IE6 worldwide.
According to Microsoft, now 12% of the world using IE6, which is 9% less when compared to last year February month.From this we can estimate that within 2 years we can completely kill IE6.
The Countries China and South Korea are using IE6 34.5% and 24.8% respectively.In India it is 12%.
